I don't know if it's because I did a little bit of a workout the day before, or because it was just my first day back, but I think I'm 'back to square one', and it sucks. I was happy with what I could do in my last post, which was what I last did when I used to go gym, but today my weights had to be slashed badly.
I did Chest, Shoulders and Triceps. Here it is:
Bench press:
39kg - 15 reps x2
52kg - 7 reps
52kg - 5 reps
52kg - 2 reps
HORRIBLE!
Shoulder press:
27kg - 10 reps
32kg - 9 reps
32kg - 6 reps
DISGRACEFUL!
Incline butterfly press:
27kg - 10 reps
32kg - 8 reps
32kg - 6 reps
Lateral raise:
37kg - 10 reps
45kg - 10 reps
47kg - 6 reps
Tricep extension:
41kg - 10 reps
45kg - 10 reps
47 kg - 9 reps
....I know my ego shouldn't be so in this, but when I look back at what I could do pretty easily, it just disgraces this atrocity. So it's official; I'm back to square one. And it blows.
I'll just keep going and trying to improve, just like when I first started, but I'll surpass any maximum weight I've ever done.
I have to be determined.
